Educational Programs Adults

Are you new to our community? Are you interested in an environmentally-friendly way to travel around town? Are you interested in saving money on your automotive fuel, maintenance and insurance costs?

Laketran offers adult programs on a one-to-one or small group basis. This training is free and available to all residents. Individual assessments are recommended in order to tailor the instruction to meet personal transportation needs.

Instruction includes destination planning, map navigation, schedule reading, fare payment and bus etiquette. Laketran’s training staff will even accompany you on your first trip to ensure that you are confident with your new transit skills!
